Fellow computer nerd Jan Wolter made the Internet a better place when he introduced blank Web pages - oases of calm in the Wild Wild Web. But these seemingly-clean documents hold a dirty secret: Invalid HTML! A run through the W3C's Markup Validation Service reveals three errors! In only four lines of code! For shame, Mr. Wolter.
I have produced new versions of these pages which are not only error-free; they have updated to follow modern Web development practices. Observe with your own eyes the superiority of my versions!

Second, I'd like to thank Jan Wolter for all the useful information he's provided on his Javascript Madness pages, which provided valuable information on various browser incompatibilites in the early stages of my Web development career. Thankfully, browsers have since rendered much of his information moot.
